Parliamentarians demand Nushiravan Meherremli and Elmar Mammadyarov to give report in Milli Majlis

Parliamentarian Igbal agazadeh made a speech and said that the society is ill-informed about Karabakh negotiations held within last five years.
â€œWe should be informed about the essence of coordinated problems. Foreign Minister should be invited to Milli Majlis and give report.â€?
Penah Hussein and Nasib Nasibli shared Agazadehâ€™s position. Then the parliamentarians demanded to make ANSâ€™s issue clear. Penah Hussein demanded to call the chief of National Television and Radio Council Nushiravan Meherremli to Milli Majlis and answer parliamentariansâ€™ questions.
Gudret Hasanguliyev said that according to the world practice the leadership of the parliament is defined with the participation of the faction representatives.
â€œBut Azerbaijan does not consider these principles while formulating the parliament leadership; we do it on regional principles.â€?
He also said as Nakhchivan is in blockade, it also should be represented by a parliamentarian. He also mentioned Russia pays little rental for Gabala Radar station.
â€œIf Russia increases the costs of energy, why should not we do the same. This issue should be considered,â€? he said.
Fezail Agamali in his turn offered to make amendments to the constitution and to prolong presidency from five years to seven years. He also said that it is important issue to be discussed. He also reminded Iran Ayatollahâ€™s fetva about Rafig Tagi and said that Azerbaijan is threatened with terror. Speaker Ogtay Asadov showed his attitude to the issues and advised not to politicize the problems. /APA/
