Sardar Jalaloglu: Musavat wants to share unsuccessful mass rallies tactics with all opposition
“Parties fulfill the commitment, but government does not. We decided to refuse our constitutional rights. It does not mean that we freeze our political mission, it is only political boycott, we do not meet with any international organizations, he said.
Sardar Jalaloglu said that some forces do not accept this idea. They value it as betrayal and capitulation. Musavat’s position is vague; they say that they pursue patient policy. Underlying that Musavat has appealed to Baku Major’s Office for three times but has been rejected to hold actions; he said that their proposal is supported by Umid Party and National Democrat Party.
“Musavat, Penah Hussein and Classic Popular Front party did not accept this proposal. We would like democratic institution to function together. If we stop our activity alone, it will be less effective. That it why we can refuse this proposal, he said.
He stated that meeting tactics carried out by democratic forces for 15 years have not resulted in expansion of democratic freedom.
“The meeting will be effective, if the government reacts to it. But when we make statement Yashar Aliyev reacts instead of President’s office, YAP leadership and parliament. In this case it is impossible to achieve anything, he said.
He also expressed his attitude to the proposals and said that there is no new idea.
“Musavat wants to share unsuccessful meeting tactics with opposition, he said. /APA/
