Azerbaijan’s ruling party expresses an opinion concerning a meeting with the members of the Public Chamber of the diplomatic corps representatives

In his view, the diplomats accredited to the country’s embassy can conduct meetings in the regions of Azerbaijan, representatives of various sectors of society. "This is part of the operating mode of the workflow. But it is regrettable that the diplomats of some countries still do not bother to meet with Azerbaijani refugees, IDPs, families of martyrs, the inhabitants of Khojaly, where there was an act of genocide. Somehow, in these embassies do not remember that 20 years violated the rights of these people. From this perspective, the organizers of the meetings should not forget about these people", - he said.

Note that at today’s meeting with diplomats in the office of the Musavat party, attended by members of the Coordinating Council of the Public Chamber bashgan Musavat Party Isa Gambar, chairman of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli, Ilgar Ibrahimoglu, Leyla Aliyeva, Zafar Guliyev, Panah Huseynov, and Kocher Nagibeyli. Among the representatives of the diplomatic corps in particular, were the head offices of the Council of Europe in Azerbaijan Konstantinos Erekostopulos, German Ambassador Kelly Gelbert, representatives of embassies of the United States, Norway, Latvia, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Britain and other countries.
During the 2:00-long meeting they discussed issues concerning the situation in the country and the region, relations between Europe and Azerbaijan, persons arrested during a protest on April 2, is under arrest for the coordinator’s headquarters, "Civil Society Cure" Oktay Gulalieva, the recent beating of a journalist Idrac Abbasova, etc.
