Historical beauty of Baku is growing rich with completion of modern infrastructure projects, President Ilham Aliyev

Baku-APA. The head of the stated noted that as an independent state Azerbaijan will always be on the way of progress. The President underlining Azerbaijanâ€™s becoming UN non-permanent Security Council member said that this is logic consequences of the developments in the country.

Touching an order on repayment of soviet-era bank savings said that they were next social political steps demonstrating stateâ€™s strong social policy.
The head of the State mentioned that within last 8 years Azerbaijan economy increased for 3 times and the budget of the country multiplied to 15.

According to the President, there are plans for the development of Baku. â€œIcheriSheherâ€(Old City) Historical-Architectural Reserve is being restored with huge sensitivity, care and preserving historical view. All the religious monuments, mosques, public places, streets are being renovated. The Boulevard reflecting modern Baku is being expanded and new boulevard is constructed. As a consequence, after two months, the territory of the boulevard will be 13-15 kmâ€ said Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan.

The President noted that restoration works are going to end at the National Flag Square. The funicular, one of the symbols of the city, is reconstructed, the carpet museum is constructed and â€œBakuâ€™s Venetiaâ€ is under restoration. â€œI am sure that once we will be able to say that Baku is the most beautiful city in the world and it should be. The citizens of Azerbaijan should live in the best conditions. Both in big cities and in the regions. There are concrete plans for each village and they are being implemented, said Ilham Aliyev the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
