In the future, I do not think of politics, Ruslan Bashirli – UPDATED
Bashirli is in the house of a relative, and friends are visiting him, APA reports.
Bashirli said that he had some health problems, he worried about cramps in the heart.
In an interview to radio "Liberty", he said that he did not intend to engage in politics.
"In the future, I do not think of politics, to lead a political organization. Maybe, I’ll be engaged in journalism, human rights activities, or even other field. This is not due to the fact that someone’s political line I like or dislike. I did not come this conclusion today or under pressure. I made the decision four years ago. Whatever I will work, I will try to do it with a conscience, "he said.
Bashirli confirmed that addressed to the president asking for a pardon. "it is not possible to be released from prison without an appeal for a pardon. This is the usual procedure and there is no other way. If someone says that released without application for a pardon, this is not true. It’s not possible. My appeal to the president was aired via TV. If apeals of others are not aired by TV, it does not mean that they have not appealed. More than 6 years, I was in prison and they didn’t particularly defended me. Why now they are talking about my appeal ... ", he said.
