Azerbaijani President visits Salyan

APA reports that the Head of State laid a wreath at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Salyan city.

President was informed about the works carried out during the year. The facades of the multi-storey communal buildings were repaired and decorated with national ornaments and 630 electric posts were installed at the streets using AZN 2 mln resources allocated by the Head of State. The streets were reconstructed and roadside greenery was developed.

President Aliyev also inspected the construction works carried out in the complex of the Salyan Regional Executive Power and Heydar Aliyev Center. He was informed that the buildings were being constructed in accordance with modern architecture style on the basis of original project. The construction of the complex has started last December. Heydar Aliyevâ€™s monument will be erected in front of the three-storey building. The fountains will surround the monument.

New administrative building of the Regional Executive Power will have 78 working rooms. The staff will be provided with all necessary conditions for their efficient work.

Then the Head of State inspected the Kur Hotel after its reconstruction. President was informed that the reconstruction works started in 2009. The 4-storey hotel has 57 rooms meeting high service standards. It has a restaurant, bar-cafÃ© and shop.
Elevators used in the hotel, were produced in Gabala elevator plant of Gilan LLC. The centralized ventilation system and electric transformer were installed and swimming pool was constructed there. The area around the hotel was renovated.
