Azerbaijanâ€™s President attends inauguration of Astara Central Hospital after overhaul

APA reports that the Head of State viewed the stands with the pictures of the hospital before and after the overhaul. It was said that the three-storey hospital, which was built in 1983, later fell into disrepair. The 90-bed hospital was overhauled at the government expenditures and supplied with modern medical equipment.

There is a reception, obstetric-gynecologic department, department of surgery, resuscitation department, intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, ultrasound examination room, wards, two surgery suites, two intensive therapy rooms, kitchen, canteen and staff rooms in the hospital.

The Head of State met with the hospital staff.
