APFP members attempt to hold unsanctioned protest action outside Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. A group of members of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) attempted to hold unsanctioned protest action outside the Ministry of Justice.

Press service of the APFP told APA that the aim of the action was to protest against the pressure exerted on the imprisoned members of APFP and Public Chamber.
The police prevented the protest action. 17 participants of the protest action were detained and taken to Yasamal District Police Office.

Chairman of APFP Youth Committee Abulfaz Gurbanli and Arzuman Majidli, father of the imprisoned member of APFP Elnur Majidli have also been detained.

District Police Office said that actions of the detained people are being investigated and will be sent to the relevant court.
