Musavat Partyâ€™s Congress postponed

He said that the decision on postponement was passed at todayâ€™s meeting of the organizing committee.

The reason is that Baku City Executive Power didnâ€™t allocate a place to party for holding the congress.

The organizing committed established a working group on finding new place for the congress. Tofig Yagublu was elected head of the working group. Though the date of congress is unknown, Yagublu said that the congress would be held in a short time after finding the place.

The decision on holding Musavat Partyâ€™s 8th Congress on March 3-4 was passed at the meeting of Partyâ€™s Assembly in January, 2012. Though the Party addressed Baku City Executive Power for holding the congress in Hand Games Sport Palace, the capitalâ€™s authorities didnâ€™t allow it.
