Ahmed Oruj: â€œPublic Chamber becomes a mechanism for receiving grantsâ€

Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œOrganizations and the people struggling against the authorities should understand that if the bulk of the opposition gathered in the Public Chamber, they can make this fight more effectivelyâ€¦. rather than creating another organization on the sideâ€, Tofig Yagublu, member of the Public Chamber, deputy chairman of the Musavat Party told APA. Yagublu, expressing opinion on the establishment of the Resistance Movement for Democratic Society said that elementary logic dictates that the strength of the opposition is only in the Public Chamber: â€œDespite this, I wish successes them, let them do whatever they can. Of course, we donâ€™t monopolize the struggle against authority and every citizen of Azerbaijan, its political, social organizations can fight as they want. It’s just a fact that Musavat and APFP see the most optimal way of struggling in the creation of the Public Chamber".

Member of the Resistance Movement for Democratic Society, Chairman of the Liberty Party Ahmed Oruj said that leaders of the party represented in the resistance movement considered the Public Chamber as an ally and they also ready to attend and support their events: â€œI was one of the founders of the Public Chamber. Today, the Public Chamber has become a mechanism for receiving grants, and I said that this way is not correct when I was thereâ€.

Oruj said that Tofig Yagublu is not represented in the political elite, and thatâ€™s why he didnâ€™t speak correctly: â€œAll political forces know that the Public Chamber imitate struggling and there is no any real fight. Waiting for "Arab revolution" in Azerbaijan, APFP and Musavat began to isolate other parties from the Public Chamber. They began to dream about revolution in Azerbaijan with their participation. But this didnâ€™t happen. All protest actions were stopped after Chairmen of PFPA and Musavat were invited to the Baku Main Police Office. If insincere people, deceiving public opinion, ready to bargain with the authorities were in the political arena over 20 years, they were represented in the leadership of APFP and Musavat.
