Public Chamberâ€™s Coordination Council holds special meeting

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. The Coordination Council of the Public Chamber held a special meeting, APA reports.

The bill passed by the French Senate criminalizing the denial of the genocides recognized by the law was discussed at the meeting.

A decision was passed at the meeting to hold a number of events. According to the decision, a protest action will be held outside the French embassy in Azerbaijan on January 25, march will be organized from the Turkish embassy towards the French embassy in Baku on January 26.

Relevant instructions were given to the Public Chamberâ€™s organizations in Europe. According to the instructions, the organizations are to hold pickets, events protesting against the decision of the French Senate.

A statement condemning the decision of the French Senate was issued at the meeting.
