Ali Hasanov: “The measures taken around the State Flag Square are unrelated to Eurovision Song Contest and preparation of corresponding venue for the eventâ€

Baku-APA. “The measures taken around the State Flag Square are unrelated to the Eurovision Song Contest and preparation of corresponding venue for the eventâ€, Chief of the Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told APA commenting on the allegations which argued that the violations of property rights and the demolishment of buildings around the State Flag Square were due to the construction of “Baku Crystal Hall†for Eurovision Song Contest.
“Reconstruction works in Baku, and particularly in this area, are related to the upgrade of Baku’s infrastructure, roads and other transportation projects, as well as the extension of Baku Boulevard. Unfortunately, in some cases the foreign media falls under the influence of groundless claims, as certain groups are intentionally politicizing unrelated issues and try to link them to the Eurovision
Song Contestâ€.
