Ilham Aliyev attends opening ceremony of newly reconstructed â€œKoroghluâ€ subway station

Baku-APA. President Ilham Aliyev and his wife attended opening ceremony of newly reconstructed underground passage of â€œKoroghluâ€ (former â€œAzizbeyovâ€) station of Baku Subway. The President and his wife also visited park near subway station and newly constructed musical flame complex. Employers of Baku Subway welcomed President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva warmly, APA reports. The head of the Baku subway Taghi Ahmedov gave information to the president and his wife on new building of the subway station. According to T. Ahmadov, modern lighting system was installed to the building of â€œKoroghluâ€ subway station in the shape of pyramid. Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva also were informed on sketch of the â€œKoroghlyâ€ monument to be erected in the station. The president and the First lady got acquainted with platform conditions and â€œSOSâ€ alarm system.

President Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady also visited underground passage in the intersection of Haydar Aliyev and Ziya Bunyadov avenues. Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed president that there are 2 passages with 140 and 65 meter length has been put into operation. The widths of both passages are 6 meters.

The Head of the State and his wife also visited park in the Nizami District of Baku.
