Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament congratulates Azerbaijani people on Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis

Speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov congratulated the lawmakers and Azerbaijani people on the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year. During the discussions of current issues, MP Fazil Mustafa welcomed the pardon order issued by the Azerbaijani President recently. â€œAzerbaijan has very important work ahead in 2012. First of all, we are expected to put the draft amendments to the law on political parties to vote in the next spring sessionâ€.

Chairman of Umid Party Igbal Aghazadeh also highly appreciated the pardon order and expressed regret that the order didnâ€™t concern Arif Hajili, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev and others.

Vice speaker Bahar Muradova didnâ€™t mention by name, but said that Jabbar Savalanli was insincere when said that he didnâ€™t apply for pardon.

Speaker Ogtay Asadov congratulated popular artist, MP Zeynab Khanlarova on her 75th anniversary and said the parliamentâ€™s diploma and medal will be presented to her in one of the next meetings because she didnâ€™t attend the todayâ€™s meeting.
