Azerbaijani President: Many works done as a result of implementation of the State Program on Socio-Economic Development of Regions

Azerbaijani Health Minister Oktay Shiraliyev informed the Head of State about the hospital. He said the 100-bed hospital has nearly 300 medical personnel. Equipment in offices meets the latest advances of medical science. Here the equipment ultrasound, dialysis, anesthesia, X-ray machines, computed tomography, artificial respiration. The hospital installed a modern ultrasound machine 4D. All equipment of the hospital is manufactured in leading countries of the world.

It was noted that the surgical unit in a medical facility equipped with modern medical equipment. For the first time monitors are installed with a special sensor in the Azerbaijani language by which the mode of lighting and ventilation in the surgical unit is controlled from a single center.

The walls of block heated by a special system which is used in medical institutions of the leading countries of the world. The hospital also is equipped with all necessary conference room.

The hospital was built by funds allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President. The adjacent area of 4 hectares of built parking lots, swimming pools, storage facilities for drinking and waste water pumping station, transformer substation, boiler room. In the yard of the hospital conducted extensive landscaping, planting strips laid.

President Ilham Aliyev met with hospital staff and the public Sheki, after becoming acquainted with the medical establishment.

The Head of the State in his speech noted that many works done as a result of implementation of the State Program on Socio-Economic Development of Regions. â€œThe result of this work is the new central Hospital Sheki, that meet the most modern requirementsâ€, - the President said.

According to the President in the country is going on intensive construction of modern social facilities, and in particular medical centers.

He said that gasification process of Sheki will be completed before the end of 2013, will solve the problem of water supply, electrification, road construction etc. and allocated funds for the reconstruction of historical monuments Sheki.

He especially highlighted realization of the plans to develop tourism in the region.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stressed that gave specific instructions for the development of the region, the formation of this area into a modern tourist center.
