Azerbaijani President attends groundbreaking ceremony of Heydar Aliyev Center in Gakh region

APA reports that the President, who became familiar with the centerâ€™s sketch designs, was informed that the Center will be constructed in 1-ha territory.

The constructions work will be finished in 2012. The main building will have a large conference hall, explication and class rooms and mini-conference hall. According to the project, the centerâ€™s engineering and communication systems will meet the modern standards. The improvement and greening works will be carried out around the center.

It was noted that the photo exhibition reflecting Heydar Aliyevâ€™s life and activity, his foreign trips and visits to the regions of our republic will be established in the center. The service rooms provided with the modern equipments will function here. The pupils will deeply study Azerbaijanâ€™s history and literature here.

Then the foundation of the Heydar Aliyev Center was laid.

President Aliyev threw the metallic capsule into the foundation and pushed the button putting the cement-mixer into operation.

The Head of State gave instructions and recommendations to carry out the construction work at a high level.
