Grave Crime Court personnel expect cut in salary

Baku. Ali Ahmadov â€“ APA. Personnel of the Azerbaijani Court of Grave Crimes expect cut in their salary, chairman of the Parliamentâ€™s Committee on Law and State-Building Ali Huseynli said during the discussion of draft budget 2012 at the joint committeesâ€™ meeting.

The committee chairman called on the Ministry of Finance to stop this initiative. Ali Huseynli said he intended to put forward an initiative to conform the salary of first instance court personnel to the salary of the personnel of grave crime court. â€œLater we were informed that the Ministry of Finance proposed to the Cabinet of Ministers to cut the salary of the personnel of grave crime court conforming it to the first instance court wageâ€.

The committee chairman said despite the importance of protection of the financial resources, currently this measure is inexpedient. â€œWe ask to drop this issue from agenda because we are going to propose to increase the office personnel wages. I ask you to be more attentive to this issue because the modern court system means the work conditions and wage in accordance with the modern standards as wellâ€.
