Azerbaijani ruling party welcomes demolition of monument dedicated to Turkish-Armenian friendship in Gars

The demolition of this monument will be very logical. Erdoganâ€™s position reflects the reality and is naturalâ€, Deputy Executive Secretary of YAP, MP Mubariz Gurbanli said at the interview to the ruling partyâ€™s website.

He said that the existence of such monument is the moral justification the occupying policy of Armenia. That is why one should protest the occupants.

â€œSome circles think that the opening of borders with Armenia will bring a dividend to Turkey and to the region. Bit these thoughts are funny. There is no importance of trade with Armenia which has empty treasure and poor population. Turkish ruling circles realizes this factâ€ - he said.

Gurbanli said that Armenia has territorial claims against Turkey, propagandizes the so-called â€œArmenian genocideâ€ and wants to strike Turkeyâ€™s image in in the world: â€œThere is no need to erect a monument to the non-existed friendship of Armeniansâ€.
