Azerbaijani parliament holds its last sitting in 2010

Speaker Ogtay Asadov congratulated the parliamentarians on holiday. Following this, the parliamentarians expressed their views on various issues.

Annexes to the law on â€œState dutiesâ€ were discussed at the sitting. Chairman of the parliamentâ€™s committee on legal policy and statehood Ali Huseynov said according to the annexes, the persons having the status of refugee in Azerbaijan will pay AZN 5 to get â€œRefugee cardâ€ or â€œRoute sheetâ€.

Annexes to the â€œStatute on service in the internal affairs bodies of Azerbaijan Republicâ€ were offered for discussion. Ali Huseynov gave information about the draft document. He said the annexes envisage some privileges for female police officers.

Amendments and annexes to a number of legislative acts in connection with the application of the law on â€œIndividual dataâ€ were also discussed. According to the amendments made to the Code of Administrative Offences, fine from AZN 300 up to AZN 500 will be imposed for the violation of the legislation on individual data.

The amendment proposed to the Tax Code was also discussed during the sitting.

Annexes to the law on â€œService in the judicial bodiesâ€ were introduced.

The discussed issues were confirmed.
