Heydar Aliyev Foundation holds festival for children â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

On December 29, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijanâ€™s First Lady, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, parliamentarian Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the festival, together with her daughters Leyla and Arzu she shared their joy. Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughters talked to the children heartily, had their photos taken with them. Most of the participants of the festival were children from the families of refugees and internally displaced persons, children in need of care, inmates of childrenâ€™s homes, children from boarding schools.

Film describing the celebration of the Day of Solidarity of the World Azerbaijanis and New Year by the national leader Heydar Aliyev together with children, the care of President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva for children was screened at the event.

Famous singers, amateur dance groups of schools, young talents performed at the event.

Mehriban Aliyeva congratulated all on the New Year.
â€œI am very glad that we are sharing the New Year joy with you again. I see our children smile and rejoice. I wish you always be happy and cheerful. The New Year is different from other holidays. This is the childrenâ€™s sweet holiday and one of the sweet holidays for me. The people celebrate the New Year together with their relatives and families. Today I am very happy to share this festival with you and to celebrate it together with my dear children. President Ilham Aliyev also sends congratulations, greetings and his love to you. Today all conditions were created for you in Azerbaijan. I hope you will succeed in your classes, get good education, be healthy and make your parents and us happy with your successes. The children all over the world are celebrating the New Year these days. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is working to make this holiday as real festival for you. Therefore we decorated this magnificent palace and invited you here. I hope you like this festival and you are happy. The New Year has one peculiarity more. The people make a wish on the eve of the New Year. I wish all your dreams to be realized in the New Year. I cordially congratulate you and wish you health, successes and happinessâ€.

The children thanked Mehriban Aliyeva for her attention and care for them. In the end of the festival every child received a New Year present.

About 2000 children and teenagers will attend the New Year celebrations organized by the Foundation.
