Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issues an order on awarding Capitan Ahmad Abdullayev with Medal for Heroism

Capitan Ahmad Abdullayev Huseynagha was awarded by that Medal for his heroism in maintenance of territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan (after death).

Note that, Capitan Abdullayev became martyr on September 4, in battles near Chilaburt village of Tartar region. On that day the situation intensified as a result of sudden attack by Armenian armed forces. One our soldier â€“ Farid Gulagha Ahmadov, born in 1986, became martyr during shootout. It was impossible to take his body. Sergeant of Azerbaijani Army â€“Ahmad Abdullayev, born in 1976 was injured during the same shootout. He died at hospital and buried in native Jalilabad region.
