Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. The 3rd forum of opposition was held in Musavat Party’s office. APA reports that Musavat Party Chairman Isa Gambar, Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (AXCP) Ali Karimli, Chairman of Azerbaijan National Independence Party (AMIP) Yusif Bagirzadeh, a number of heads of NGO’s, the candidates for deputy dissatisfied with the results of November 7 parliamentary elections attended the event.

It was informed that the suggested draft declaration on Civil Movement for Democracy – Public Chamber had been prepared. According to the draft, the Social Chamber is being established for researching, preparing the projects (as well as draft laws), programs, conceptions, doctrines and the other works on Azerbaijani society’s development strategy. Forum attendees approved the declaration and also established Public Chamber’s Coordination Council consisting of 9 persons. The members of the Coordination Council are both from political parties and civil societies. Isa Gambar, Ali Karimli, Yusif Bagirzadeh, Panah Huseyn, Mirvari Gahramanli, Agil Samadbayli, Annagi Hajibeyli, Vidadi Mirkamal and Haji Ilgar Ibrahimoglu were elected the members of the Coordination Council.
Former MP Panah Huseyn, who participated in the event, offered the membership of Chairman of Classical Azerbaijan Popular Front Mirmahmud Miralioglu to the Coordination Council. It was noted in the forum that first of all must consent himself.

It was noted that the council represents Public Chamber and can accept the decisions, and give the declarations, appeals. Chamber considers to hold meeting once a month.

The Chamber will function within the framework of Azerbaijani Constitution and laws.
