Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament: European Parliamentâ€™s representative Tomasz Poreba showed disrespect for Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity

Speaker said instructions had been given to the parliamentâ€™s committees to comment on it. Noting that the representative of the European Parliament showed disrespect for Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity, speaker said he would express his position to his colleagues in the European Parliament.

Chairman of the parliamentâ€™s international affairs committee Samad Seyidov said there are high-level relations between Azerbaijan and the European Parliament and mentioned that the European Parliament in its resolution recognized Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity.
â€œUnfortunately, in stead of fulfilling the instructions of the European Parliament, this person violated Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity, visited Nagorno Karabakh and met with the separatists,â€ he said.

Samad Seyidov said letters would be sent to the European Parliament demanding to take notice of Porebaâ€™s acts.
