Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Honorary President of the Russian Olympic Committee, member of the International Olympic Committee Vitaly Smirnov and President of the European Shooting Confederation Vladimir Lisin, APA reports quoting AzerTAc.

They touched upon Azerbaijanâ€™s achievements in the field of sport, and discussed the countryâ€™s role in expanding the international sport cooperation.
They noted the fact Azerbaijan had been hosting important sport events, adding they had been well-organized.

Azerbaijanâ€™s active participation in the International Olympic movement was praised during the meeting.
