Bahar Muradova: â€œUnfortunately, we cannot hold elections in Nagorno Karabakh because of Armenian occupationâ€

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA. Deputy Chairman of Parliament, Head of Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA Bahar Muradova met with the OSCE PAâ€™s pre-election observation mission members, press service of the Parliament told APA.

Muradova noted that necessary conditions had been created for free, fair and transparent parliamentary elections and for citizens to express their will. She said that Azerbaijani citizens of Armenian origin settled in the Nagorno Karabakh are out of the elections: â€œUnfortunately, we cannot hold elections in the Nagorno Karabakh because of the Armenian occupation. The reason all of these is the aggressive policy of Armenia and their efforts to separate Nagorno Karabakh from Azerbaijanâ€.

Wolfgang Grossruck shared opinions on the forthcoming parliamentary elections and expressed hope that elections would be free and fair.
