Azerbaijani President attends unveiling ceremonies of Mingachevir-Khaldan road and gas line in Gunashli housing estate of Mingachevir City

Baku - APA. Within the framework of his visit to Mingachevir, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the unveiling ceremony of reconstructed Mingachevir-Khaldan road, APA reports. Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov provided detailed information on the reconstruction works. It is a third-rate road. Width of two-striped traffic path is 7 meters. This road assumes great importance for the region, because it combines 263 km of the Baku-Shamakhy-Yevlakh highway with Mingachevir City. Moreover, it provides traffic tie between Mingachevir and the capital, as well as with north-west region of the republic. At the same time, people moving from Shaki-Zagatala region to Ganja-Gazakh and in opposite direction use this road.

President Aliyev cut the red ribbon and wished success to builders.

The head of the state also took part in the opening ceremony of gas line in Gunashli housing estate in Mingachevir. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev informed the President that launching works of gas line commenced in the middle of 2008. The length of the gas line is 7290 running meters. The length of indoor piping is 30 km.

It was noted that there were 2 000 houses in Gunashli massive and it was considered to provide all of them with blue gas. SOCAR’s Azerigaz Industrial Union ensured the flats with speedometer.
