Azerbaijanâ€™s ruling party expresses reaction to Isa Gambarâ€™s cooperation deal with Armenian National Movement

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. â€œIsa Gambar reached a deal with the Armenian National Movement in Germany. It seems it gets traditional character in their election tactic. They donâ€™t hope for support of Azerbaijani people and rely on support of Armeniansâ€, said deputy chairman of executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov at a press conference on Wednesday. He expressed reaction to the declaration of cooperation signed by Azerbajanâ€™s Musavat Party leader Isa Gambar, chairman of the Armenian National Movementâ€™s Board Aram Manukyan and chairman of the Georgiaâ€™s Republican Party David Usupashvili in Potsdam, Germany.

Ahmadov reminded that on the eve of 2005 elections, AXCP member Ruslan Bashirli also discussed the issue of support for the election campaign in Azerbaijan with the Armenians in Georgia. â€œThe Armenian ideologists pursuing aggressive policy against Azerbaijan are guided by several centers and one of these centers is the Armenian National Movement. This movement is the main player in aggression against Azerbaijan. Probably agreement with the forces occupying Azerbaijani territories was reached against Azerbaijan. Some people are willing to compromise with a devil for their interests. We are strongly condemning this action because it is against the national and state interests. It is contradictory to the Musavatâ€™s Chapter tooâ€.

Musavat leader Isa Gambar told APA that the declaration contains nothing against the Azerbaijanâ€™s interests.
