Azerbaijani Parliament begins autumn session

Then Speaker Ogtay Asadov addressed the parliament. He said 1058 bills and documents were adopted during the activity of third calling parliament and the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegations paid more than 820 visits to more than 70 countries.

The legislative working plan of the autumn session contains 12 issues. 34 documents, including a draft law on ratification of intergovernmental agreement, amendments to a number of legislative acts will be discussed at the meetings to be held from September 30 until October 8. The documents were sent to the parliament by the Head of State, Supreme Court, Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan and other organizations.

Draft bill on state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2011 is also expected to be discussed at the autumn session, but it has not been sent to the parliament yet.
