The DEC registers 1100 candidates in parliamentary elections

Baku. Parvin Abbasov - APA. According to the information on September 25 District Election Commission (DEC) approved the nomination of 1100 applicants for participation in the 2010 parliamentary elections, press service of the Central Election Commission told APA.

1041 candidates who were registered in the DEC have received signature lists from the CEC, while 144 have already filled in and submitted them to the CEC. 19 people withdrew their nomination.

19 people withdrew their candidacy. To date, the CEC has approved 35 candidates from 28 constituencies.

Recall that the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010
