Ali Ahmadov: “I believe independent candidates from YAP will withdraw their candidacyâ€
Ali Ahmadov said some opposition parties, which tried to compete with YAP, were using very useful methods. “The opposition is struggling against YAP, but YAP doesn’t struggle against any party in Azerbaijan. Our goal is to gain sympathy and confidence of the people. We are running for the voters’ votes. We don’t struggle against anything or anyone. We have very positive target, but the opposition gives a negative background to its struggle. They are always struggling against something or someone. They forget that they need to gain the voters’ vote to win the elections. It needs to work for gaining the people’s sympathy. I would like to stress one more issue. Some opposition parties were trying to make analyses that YAP expected for the opposition’s listing and then it would publicize its candidates. I would like to emphasize that there is no sense for YAP that who and where will be nominated by the opposition parties. In difference from the opposition we consider that only voters solve the fate of elections. Therefore we didn’t learn the opposition candidates, but we learn the opinion of voters about our candidates. YAP considers that our candidates are superior of the opposition candidates for all parametersâ€.
Ali Ahmadov said every member of the party would defend the YAP’s consolidation. “I believe that both members of the parliament from the party, as well as the members, whose names were not nominated in the listing will support the YAP’s election campaign. It is a result of unity of our party. They will contribute to the successful election campaign. Unfortunately our opponents try to create problems inside the party spreading slanders and baseless information, but all of their attempts have ailed so far. I would like to stress resolutely that the opposition’s meaningless and unjustified struggle against us will not give any resultâ€.
