According to him, the civil servant, whose candidacy has been registered, must either go on leave, or offer his resignation.
â€œThe representative of the executive structure has no right to both participate in the election process and fulfill his duty in the executive structure from the day his candidacy is registered,â€ he said.

A number of civil servants, including heads of executive offices are participating in the parliamentary elections that will be held on November 7.
