Ali Hasanov: â€œExecutive authorities shouldnâ€™t use administrative resources in favor of any candidateâ€

Police should preserve law and order on the voting day and the executive authorities should fulfill their duties in accordance with law. They have to create conditions for communication between the candidates and votersâ€, Chief of the Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said at the information session entitled â€œInadmissibility of illegal interference in the election processâ€, APA reports.

Hasanov said the executive authorities shouldnâ€™t use administrative resources in favor of any candidate. â€œSome forces, who claimed for a victory during the previous elections, said that â€œif they were defeated it meant results were falsifiedâ€. Fortunately such cases were left behind and now few people have such claims. All forces and all candidates joined these elections without any pre-condition. In previous years, trying to justify their defeat some political parties made statements that they â€œdidnâ€™t join the elections because it would be falsifiedâ€. Some other organizations also avoided to participate in the elections under different pretences. This year all political forces joined the elections. I think these elections will be distinguished for a special activeness and competitionâ€.
