Police should preserve law and order on the voting day and the executive authorities should fulfill their duties in accordance with law. They have to create conditions for communication between the candidates and voters”, Chief of the Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said at the information session entitled “Inadmissibility of illegal interference in the election process”, APA reports.

Hasanov said the executive authorities shouldn’t use administrative resources in favor of any candidate. “Some forces, who claimed for a victory during the previous elections, said that “if they were defeated it meant results were falsified”. Fortunately such cases were left behind and now few people have such claims. All forces and all candidates joined these elections without any pre-condition. In previous years, trying to justify their defeat some political parties made statements that they “didn’t join the elections because it would be falsified”. Some other organizations also avoided to participate in the elections under different pretences. This year all political forces joined the elections. I think these elections will be distinguished for a special activeness and competition”.
