Information sessions on â€œInadmissibility of illegal interference in election procedureâ€ kick off in Baku - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Representatives of PA, CEC, OSCE Office in Baku, heads of Executive Powers of Baku and other regions, chairmen of district election commissions attend the information session.

Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Jankorel said that such events were started related to presidential elections held in 2008: â€œAn analogic cooperation was also during presidential and municipal elections. Progress in elections held in Azerbaijan has been confirmed in the report of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights as well. This progress has also been observed in municipal elections. It is an achievement of the CEC and Azerbaijani state bodies. But, including last municipal elections there were some interferences in the process. As a result of it, chairmen of some election commissions and DEC chairmen have been punished. Even one head of executive power was dismissed. May be, the number of illegal interferences are not so much, but they must not existâ€.

Note that, the information sessions have been organized for heads of executive powers and DEC chairmen. Such sessions will be held for heads of executive powers and DEC chairmen on September 21 in Shirvan, on September 22 in Mingachevir, on September 24 in Nakhchivan.
