President reinforces social protection of low-income groups of population
1. Determine the rate of the social benefits in the below-mentioned order:
1.1. Monthly benefits:
1.1.1. Age benefit – 50 AZN;
1.1.2. Disability benefit – if the disability was due to "common disease", "disease for the period of military service", "industrial injury or occupational disease, "in connection with a stay in the zone of military operations, "in connection with the liquidation of the accident at Chernobyl nuclear power plant:
Disabled persons of the first group - 55 AZN
Disabled persons of the second group - 40 AZN
Disabled persons of the third group - 35 AZN;
1.1.3. Child benefits – for children under the age of 18 years with disabilities - 55 AZN;
1.1.4. Benefit for the loss of a breadwinner - 45 AZN;
1.1.5. Persons, ineligible to get retirement pension, who obtained the title of a war veteran for participation in military operations for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan Republic, persons awarded orders and medals for their selfless labor in the rear in 1941 – 1945, persons who served in the former Soviet Army (the Navy) in 1941-1945, agencies of internal affairs and state security, but did not participate in military operations, awarded during World War II the medals and orders, the employees of the special forces, who accomplished the missions during the Second World War for the army and navy in rear of the belligerent fronts or in the operational areas of the warring fleets, persons who during the Second World War and the siege of Leningrad worked in the enterprises, institutions and organizations of the city and was awarded the medal "For Defense of Leningrad", badge "Resident of the Besieged Leningrad, persons who got involved in local wars and armed conflicts on the territory of other countries in the military units as the specialists of the armed forces, the Committee for State Security, Ministry of Interior Affairs of the former Soviet Union - 30 AZN;
1.1.6. Benefits for children of conscripted military servicemen - 50 AZN;
1.1.7. Guardians (trustees) of the children who lost their parents and deprived of parental custody – 35 AZN;
1.1.8. Low-income families with a child aged under one year - 30 AZN.
1.2. Lump-sum allowance:
1.2.1. Annual allowance for treatment of the persons affected by the radiation accident - 160 AZN;
1.2.2. Allowance for the birth of a child - 75 AZN;
1.2.3. Allowance for funeral - 100 AZN.
2. The Cabinet is entrusted to resolve all related issues proceeding from this Decree.
3. The Presidential Decree dated from August 27, 2008, # 820 "On raising welfare benefits (except the paragraphs 3 and 4) is considered to be null and void.
4. This Decree shall enter into force on September1, 2010.
