Ali Hasanov: â€œNo administrative resource will be used for restriction of mass media activity during the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijanâ€

Hasanov said all opportunities given by the Electoral Code would be used for coverage of the elections. There will be no restriction for private media activity and all candidates will be provided with air time on ITV, Public Television, said Hasanov. â€œWe want the process to be transparent. Unfortunately the election process and post-election situation are different. Everybody says it is normal during the election process, but after publicizing the election results, defeated candidates say that there were falsifications and there is a problemâ€.

Hasanov called on mass media organizations to be active during the elections.
