Mazahir Panahov: It may be connected with the financial issue that the European Union does not send observers for the elections in Azerbaijan

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œThe reason why the European Union does not send observers for the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan should be asked from them. Generally, this organization is not engaged in observation. But anyway we want the international organizations to participate in the observation process. They take our wish into consideration and come,â€ chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said while commenting on the news that the European Union will not send observers to Azerbaijan, APA reports. He considers that this is connected with the financial issue.
â€œEvery organization prepares program in advance, maybe observation of the election in Azerbaijan has not been included into the program. There is no other reason,â€ he said.

Mazahir Panahov says CEC is successfully continuing the preparation for the parliamentary elections since January 1.
