As the picket was unsanctioned, the picket was dispersed by the police. The picketers were not allowed to approach the building and present the resolution to the embassy. Despite this, they were allowed to read the resolution.

According to the resolution, Russia should be declared undesirable state for Azerbaijan, dismissed from co-chairmanship of OSCE Minsk Group, Russian embassy in Azerbaijan should be closed, President Dmitry Medvedevâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan prevented.

The picket aimed to protest against Russia-Armenia military cooperation.
