Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has started preparations for the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the year, chairman of CEC Mazahir Panahov said, APA reports.
CEC Chairman said instructions on the conduct of the elections, rights and duties of candidates, political parties, election commissions, legal procedures had been adopted, the instructions were being published.
Mazahir Panahov said the publications were being distributed among the lower election commissions.
“All necessary steps will be taken so that everything is ready when the elections are announced,†he said.
CEC chairman said the program for raising awareness of voters and candidates had already started.
