Bahar Muradova: â€œWhy on the back of ohmic activity of Minsk Group co-chairs and sides conducting the negotiations, OSCE PA does not want to accept the documents which will help in this process?â€

One of these demands was to achieve the acceptance of appropriate documents connected with the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict at OSCE PAâ€, Deputy Chair of Milli Majlis, head of Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA Bahar Muradova said during her speech at the 19th annual session of OSCE PA, APA reports. She said that she met with the whole leadership of OSCE PA within last 5 years: â€œI met with delegations of several states represented at the Assembly. I want to note that the results are miserable. Today, everyone can approve that Nagorno Karabakh problem is discussed at OSCE space more than other problematic questions. Meeting held between the Minsk Group co-chairs, Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents, as well as their representatives are intensifying day by day.

Muradova said it was strange that some representatives of OSCE PA spoke about it less than ever: â€œIn general, there is not an effort on reflection of appropriate opinions in connection with it in the documents. Mr. Migliori and Special Representative for the South Caucasus Mr. Lennmarker had stated their opinions on Georgia and Moldova very obviously. But they do not recall Azerbaijan anywhere. I do not understand, is not Nagorno Karabakh an uncontrolled territory? Must not we worry about transnational crime, purchase of illegal weapons, turnover of drugs and human trafficking in this territory? I observe your anxiety about Azerbaijan many times. And then why in such situation OSCE PA does not want to accept the documents which will help in the solution process to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict? By keeping silence do not we deprive ourselves from the possibility of supporting the presidentsâ€™ statement?â€

â€œNeither Lennmarkerâ€™s numerous visits to the region nor have his speeches on the problem not been reflected in any concrete document. And that is why I call the new leadership of OSCE PA to support initiatives on acceptance the documents which can positively influence on the negotiationsâ€.
