Azerbaijani parliament adopted 120 laws and draft decisions during spring and extraordinary session

Azerbaijani parliament held 14 meetings during the spring and extraordinary sessions, 120 laws and draft decisions were adopted at the meetings, vice-speaker Bahar Muradova said at the press conference on the outcomes of the parliament’s spring and extraordinary session, APA reports. Vice-speaker said the parliament had ratified a number of important documents. Amendments and annexes were made to the state budget, military doctrine was adopted, parliament issued a statement protesting against the resolution on the “Armenian genocide†adopted at the Congress’ Committee on Foreign Affairs.
“Moreover, the parliament was represented at the events held within the framework of the international organizations. Heads of legislative bodies of a number of countries visited the Azerbaijani parliament,†he said.
Bahar Muradova said the parliament received 2691 applications and proposals, 2800 citizens during the spring and extraordinary session.
