Movement for Karabakh and Republic to propose law changes

Baku-APA. The Movement for Karabakh and Republic has held a regular meeting. As said in its statement, the meeting focused on the issues of Nagorno Karabakh, the forced demolition of homes in Hokmeli village residents, as well as the creation of a working group for the legislative initiative.

The movement reiterated that its position with regard to the Karabakh conflict remains unchanged.

The Movement expressed protest against the forced demolition of homes in Hokmeli village of Baku.

Then, the movement took a decision on the establishment of a working group for the legislative initiative.
The Working Group was tasked with developing proposals on democratic changes and amendments to the Electoral Code, the Law on Political Parties, Law on Freedom of Assembly and Law on the status of municipalitiesâ€.
