Azerbaijani President participates in inauguration of â€œBadamliâ€ mineral waters plant

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev participated in the inauguration of â€œBadamliâ€ mineral waters plant in Nakhchivan on August 3, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. The head of state pushed the start button.

It was said that the source of Badamli mineral water is in Badamli village of Shahbuz, 1274m up the sea level. The water is brought to the plant through polyethylene pipes, filtered, ionized there and automatically filled in bottles.

â€œBadamliâ€ plant was opened in Shahbuz region in 1947. In 1970-1980, after the enterprise was reconstructed, 90 percent of the products were sent abroad. In 1990 â€œBadamliâ€ plant restarted. In 2004 the enterprise was privatized.

The construction of the plant began in Nakhchivan in August, 2008. The plant is located in 2.1 ha area. Total area of the building is 9,590 sq m, and production area 3,600 sq m.

The equipment of France-based SIDEL has been installed in the plant.

The labs of the plant supplied with German equipment controls the quality of the product.
