Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Azerbaijani political analysts do not expect anything serious from the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents in Moscow on July 17. At a roundtable held on the upcoming meeting and Madrid proposals, analyst Mubariz Ahmedoghlu said realization of those proposals would promote the development of Azerbaijan and Armenia and stability in the region, APA reports.
Political scientist Fikret Sadikhov considers peaceful return of the regions around Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan as a victory of Azerbaijan. He said the Moscow meeting could be next step toward the solution to the conflict.
However political scientist Rasim Aghayev thinks that this conflict will not be solved up to Azerbaijan. It needs to look at the return of nearby regions to Azerbaijan pragmatically. “Azerbaijan will take advantage with this step. It will develop and the situation in the region will be changed in 5-10 years”.
Analyst Zardusht Alizadeh thinks that the conflict is not solved, but only changes its form and saves its essence. He also considered the return of nearby regions as a positive case.
