Nardaran protest action against Israeli Presidentâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan failed

Few people gathered in the villageâ€™s Imam Hussein Square despite the technical equipments were installed there and the organizers called on people repeatedly, APA correspondent report from the site. The organizers held a press conference instead of the meeting. Member of the Nardaran Elders Council Meshadi Natig Karimov said they couldnâ€™t organize the meeting: â€˜Nardaran was always the champion. Probably we made some mistakes while organizing the meeting and therefore we couldnâ€™tâ€.
The organizers read out the resolution of the meeting at the press conference. They protested the Israeli presidentâ€™s upcoming visit to Azerbaijan, amendments to article 21 of the law on freedom of faith and closing of some mosques and said they would address President Ilham Aliyev on these issues.
