YAP parliamentarian criticizes Azerbaijani Olympic winners

He said the Olympic winners were brought up too much. Novruzov said they won the Olympics once and then were brought up and fattened. â€œThose champions are brought up so much that then they see themselves as a national hero, therefore they can win once. But in America, the sportsmen can win the Olympics for seven timesâ€.

The lawmaker proposed to add article to the draft law about the responsibility of the sportsman to work hard.

MP Adil Aliyev said there was discrimination between the sportsmen in Azerbaijan. He said there was no univocal attitude to the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation he led. â€œDouble attitude appears mostly in the regions. I want to see a law not discriminated the sportsmen. There should be equal attitude to all sportsmen-winners. We are not satisfied with current attitudeâ€.
