Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Azerbaijan Popular Front Party prepared a draft law on amendments and annexes to the Electoral Code. Chairman of the party Ali Karimli told APA that the draft law will be presented to the parliament and international organizations soon. Karimli said a number of necessary amendments should be made to the law by the local elections.
“The draft law contain proposals on establishing Baku municipality, increasing the status of municipalities, ensuring material basis of the municipalities. We consider that these amendments are necessary,†he said.
