Leaders of the organizations of Movement for Karabakh and the Republic gather for a meeting

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Leaders of the political parties united in the Movement for Karabakh and the Republic gathered for a meeting on Wednesday. Chairman of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Ali Karimli told APA they discussed the preparation to the municipal elections to take place in Azerbaijan later this year and participation of the opposition in these elections. â€œMembers of the movement agreed to coordinate their candidates not depending on the form of participation in the election and not to compete with each other. We will compete only with the candidates of the government. We have principal decision on that and will pass more detailed decisions in futureâ€. Karimli said they also discussed the last confrontations in Iran, amendments to the legislation in Azerbaijan.

The movement unites the Popular Front, Musavat, Democratic, Liberal, Citizen and Development and Umid parties.
