Zamina Dunyamaliyeva: â€œOSP must stop its activityâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Adviser to Open Society Party (OSP) leader Zamina Dunyamaliyeva made proposal to stop the partyâ€™s activity. She told APA any changes in the party leadership would not lead to its development. â€œThe party must be changed fundamentally. Replacing of one person will not solve the problem. The question is that the party was strangled in its cradle. The party lost its force when Akif Shahbazov took its chairmanshipâ€. Dunyamaliyeva said that OSP charter reads the organization should stop its activity if it is not normal.

Dunyamaliyeva considers that after the reaction of the partyâ€™s leader the supreme mejlis should make the issue clear in its meeting. â€œRasul Guliyev urged for changes, but it is not known whether it would be related to the partyâ€™s leadership or stopping of its activity. All these issues will be solved after the discussions. An irresponsible decision made by five board members on the participation in the municipal elections irritates me. The party has no headquarter, registration, fund, leadership, but five came together and said that they had to join the municipal elections. Why I have to be responsible for foolish decision of someone. I consider that if OSP has no opportunity to function as a party it has to stop its activity. If there is some meeting I will propose to stop the partyâ€™s activityâ€.
