Rasul Guliyevâ€™s proposal to change leadership of Open Society Party to be discussed in the party

Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œThe meeting of the Open Society Party will be held soon and the party leader Rasul Guliyevâ€™s proposal on changes in the leadership will be discussed there,â€ chairman of the partyâ€™s Supreme Assembly Vagif Mahmudov told APA. He said that Rasul Guliyev offered to change the leadership, not directly chairman of the party.
â€œIt is impossible to predict the decision. Everybody will express his opinion at the meeting. The partyâ€™s leader expressed a common view, but did not publicize the details. These views made it necessary to hold discussions in the party. The party does not consist of one of three persons,â€ he said.
Mahmudov said it was groundless to blame the Open Society Party for inactivity and noted that all opposition parties were passive.
â€œNone of the parties, including the Open Society Party, is able to influence the processes. Akif Shahbazovâ€™s activity is normal. Some issues do not depend on him. Those who are dissatisfied with the head of the political organization, should put forward their arguments. We will either agree or disagree to these argumentsâ€¦â€ he said.
