Ali Hasanov comments on proposal to lift restriction imposed on election of Human Rights Commissioner and similar proposal concerning Prosecutor General

Commenting on the proposal to lift the restriction imposed on election of Human Rights Commissioner more than once and similar proposal concerning the Prosecutor General Ali Hasanov said it was the demand of the society.
â€œBeginning from 2003 the society is becoming stable, new values appear in the development, processes become globalized, and as a result of it one person have limited opportunities to fully carry out activities in any sphere within five years. Therefore, it is the demand of the society that if a person can normally work in any sphere, artificial restrictions should not be imposed on his activity. If a person can continue working for 10 years, and he has no serious alternative, let him work. If there is alternative, he can put forward his candidacy. But it contradicts the present-day development to restrict peopleâ€™s opportunities to choose,â€ he said.
